rez signet - Guild Wars Forums

ok, so i started my third character today and i skipped most of presear. However because my new char is a monk, i forgot to get rez signet from that quest. is there anywhere else i can get it around ascalon or somewhere else since it is kinda important being a healing monk.

Why would a monk need a res signet? If you're really bent on having it though, you can get it from the skill trainer in ascalon city, post-searing.

Because an 8 sec rez means no healing for your team for 8 secs.

there's no place for a monk to have a rez sig for PvE
you need to be the one with a perma rez. THe decesion of when its a good time to rez is part of the job of a monk. You can often sweat it out until the end of battle before you try to rez someone

I always take rez signet and real rez as monk--audioaxes, you don't think it comes in handy for missions such as Thirsty River? Rez + full health, almost immediately? Also recharges after every boss that you kill = extremely valuable. EVERYONE should have rez signet, including monks.

It all depends on the build.

If your monk build can spare 1 slot to have rez signet... then be my guest.

I disagree: take signet for thirsty, because it recharges after any boss or sand giant is killed, and you need fast rez and only once, anyway. But most of the time, if you need to rez fast, take Light of Dwayna, one of the coolest skills in the game (reusable, rez everyone at once, and really fast, too!)

I agree, it does depend on the build. I meant that everyone should have it available. (My wording made it seem like all monks should have them both equipped all the time, but I meant only that I do, in the difficult missions--sorry for mixup.)

And, on those missions, I have been the only monk at times. If I didn't have the signet, how many players die while I am immobilized casting Resurrect? I sure as heck need those extra people, when the Enchanteds come after me!
